Elephants

Elephants are large mammals of the family Elephantidae and the order Proboscidea. Traditionally, two species were known, the African elephant  and theAsian elephant . However, recent evidence suggests that African bush elephants and African forest elephants are seperate species. These species are scattered throughout sub-Saharan Africa and South toSoutheast Asia. Elephants are the only surviving proboscideans, although several extinct species have been identified, including the elephants' close relatives, the mammoths. Elephants are the largest living terrestrial animals.
Elephants are herbivores and they can be found in numerous habitats, including savannas, forestsdeserts and marshes, and prefer to stay near water. Elephants are considered to bekeystone species due to the impact they have on their environments. Other animals tend to keep their distance, and predators such as lionstigershyenas and wild dogs usually target only the calves.

Otter

Otter

An otter is any of 13 living species of semiaquatic mammals that feed on fish and shellfish, and also other invertebrates, amphibians, birds and small mammals.
The otter subfamily Lutrinae forms part of the family Mustelidae, which also includes weasels, badgers, wolverines, and polecats.
Otters have long, slim bodies and relatively short limbs, with webbed paws. Most have sharp claws on their feet, and all except the sea otter have long, muscular tails. The 13 species range in adult size from 0.6 to 1.8 metres (2 to 6 ft) in length and 1 to 45 kilograms  in weight. The Oriental small-clawed otter is the smallest otter species and the giant otter and sea otter are the largest. They have very soft, insulated underfur, which is protected by an outer layer of long guard hair. This traps a layer of air, and keeps them dry and warm under water

Squirrel

Squirrel
Squirrels belong to a large family of small or medium-sized rodents called theSciuridae. The family includes tree squirrelsground squirrelschipmunksmarmotsflying squirrels, and prairie dogs. Squirrels are indigenous to the Americas, Eurasia, and Africa, and have been introduced to Australia. The earliest known squirrels date from the Eocene and are most closely related to the mountain beaver and to the dormouse among living species.
Squirrel Breeding
Squirrels breed once or twice a year and give birth to a varying number of young after three to six weeks, depending on species. The young are born naked, toothless, and blind. In most species of squirrel, only the female looks after the young, which areweaned at around six to ten weeks of age and become sexually mature at the end of their first year. Ground-dwelling species are generally social animals, often living in well-developed colonies, but the tree-dwelling species are more solitary
