wild scorpion HD wallpapers

Scorpions are predatory arthropod animals of the order Scorpiones within the class Arachnida. They have eight legs and are easily recognized by the pair of grasping claws and the narrow, segmented tail, often carried in a characteristic forward curve over the back, ending with a venomous stinger. Scorpions range in size from 9 mm  to 20 cm
There are thirteen families and about 1,750 described species and subspecies of scorpions. In addition, there are 111 described taxa of extinct scorpions.
This classification is based on that of Soleglad & Fet (2003), which replaced the older, unpublished classification of Stockwell.Additional taxonomic changes are from papers by Soleglad et al.

Sparrow

The sparrows are a family of small passerine birdsPasseridae. They are also known astrue sparrows, or Old World sparrows, names also used for a genus of the family,Passer. They are distinct from the American sparrows, which although similar in appearance are placed in the family Emberizidae, and from a few other birds sharing their name, such as the Java Sparrow. Many species nest on buildings, and the House and Eurasian Tree Sparrows in particular inhabit cities in large numbers, so sparrows may be the most familiar of all wild birds. They are primarily seed-eaters, though they also consume small insects. Some species scavenge for food around cities and, like gulls or Rock Doves, will happily eat virtually anything in small quantities.

Elephants

Elephants are large mammals of the family Elephantidae and the order Proboscidea. Traditionally, two species were known, the African elephant  and theAsian elephant . However, recent evidence suggests that African bush elephants and African forest elephants are seperate species. These species are scattered throughout sub-Saharan Africa and South toSoutheast Asia. Elephants are the only surviving proboscideans, although several extinct species have been identified, including the elephants' close relatives, the mammoths. Elephants are the largest living terrestrial animals.
Elephants are herbivores and they can be found in numerous habitats, including savannas, forestsdeserts and marshes, and prefer to stay near water. Elephants are considered to bekeystone species due to the impact they have on their environments. Other animals tend to keep their distance, and predators such as lionstigershyenas and wild dogs usually target only the calves.
